Police have launched an investigation after a car was on the wrong side of the road and struck two horses.
Two riders were knocked from there horses in Witcham near Ely.
One of the Riders who was in her 50s was taken to hospital to make sure she was okay.
A Cambridge Police spokesmen said” Both riders were not seriously injure. We are investigatting the incident and are making enquires.
The force said it would not comment on claims made on social media and reported in a newspaper that the driver had suffered a stroke because “the cause of the accident is still being investigated”.
East of England Ambulance Service has confirmed it did not treat the driver for a suspected stroke or any other medical concern.
Spokeswoman Jane Hart said one of the horses had to have stitches, adding: “We are very hopeful of a full recovery.
